Pastor bags 14 years for corruption


A Chinese court has sentenced a Christian pastor to 14 years in jail for embezzlement and other charges, a court official confirmed Monday, after the preacher opposed the forced removal of crosses from churches.

A pastor was shot dead by his brother at an Ohio church on Sunday, police said. Daniel Schooler, 68, is accused of gunning down Pastor William Schooler, 70, inside the office of St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.
