BURNA BOY GETS N10M FROM ALABA MARKETER FOR ALBUM
Alaba Marketer, UBA Pacific is said to have paid Burna Boy’s record label Aristokrat Records N10m upfront to secure the rights to market Burna Boy’s debut album L.I.F.E. According to our source, Burna Boy’s album has been selling so fast that it has allayed the fears of UBA Pacific who was skeptical on paying such a huge amount for a new act. He reportedly sold 40,ooo copies on the first day!
In the last couple of years, Marketers in Alaba have stopped paying artistes to secure marketing rights of their albums. They now prefer to split the royalties made from the sales of albums.
Well in Burna’s words, “Oro naira lan n so ni sin’ (We are only talking money now).
Go get the album now!
