Tragedy hits Nigerian family as three sisters drown in stream

Tragedy struck in Bauchi on Sunday when three minors reportedly drowned in a stream in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State.  

The minors who were said to be sisters left home to play, but were later discovered to have drowned at about 5.30 pm.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, Haruna Mohammed, a Superintendent of Police told journalists in a statement made available in Bauchi on Monday that the children were taken unconscious to the hospital after they were discovered. He said they were however certified dead by a medical doctor.
