Drake at war with Macklemore over Grammy Apology

Drake, Macklemore
When Drake is in the mood to be honest with his opinion, holding back is usually not an option. October's Very Own kept up his reputation for truthfulness in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, calling Macklemore's post-Grammy text to Kendrick Lamar "wack as f--k."
Mack sent the "you got robbed" message after The Heist won Best Rap Album over Lamar's good kid m.A.A.d. city, then posted the text message online.
In Drizzy's view, the self-loathing wasn't necessary. "I was like, 'You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill," said Drake. "Take your W, and if you feel you didn't deserve it, go get better — make better music,'...It felt cheap. It didn't feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?"
The "Thrift Shop" rapper's Grammy win doesn't necessarily mean he had the best album, Drake explained. "This is how the world works:  That's just how the cards fall," he said. "Own your s---."
Drake has been nominated for 18 Grammys and has won only once. According to him, since both he and Lamar were in this year's Best Rap Album category, perhaps Macklemore should've settled on a group text. "To name just Kendrick? That s--t made me feel funny. No, in that case, you robbed everybody," announced Drizzy. "We all need text messages!"
