Abia State chapter of Progressives People’s Alliance, PPA, has
applauded the exit of the party’s founder and former governor of Abia State,
Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, describing his defection to All Progressives Congress,
APC, “as a movement of a confusionist who has lost focus in his political
pursuit.”
The party claimed that
Orji Kalu’s defection was of no consequence to it as “the-party had already
served him a sack letter for his numerous anti-party activities.” Speaking at a
briefing in Umuahia, Abia State, Chairman of the party, Chief Emeka Okafor,
said the action was an afterthought to save his face, having been expelled by
the party in the state.
