Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum,
yesterday, took a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and
describing it as “a government of scandals.”
It
also emerged, yesterday, that the party will hold its national convention on
december 9, 2017.
Speaking
at the 76th National Executive Committee (NEC) of the PDP which held at
its national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, forum chairman, Ayodele Fayose,
urged party members to continue to speak up on the failings of the All
Progressives Congress ( APC) administration.
He
said “if we don’t expose them, nobody will do so.”
Fayose,
who is also the governor of Ekiti State, dismissed the anti-corruption war of
the Buhari administration as a case of armed robbers engaging perceived thieves
in a fierce battle.
“The
APC is now in many scandals; we have to keep our voices up, to expose them.
Armed robbers calling people thieves, who are the armed robbers now?
“Buhari’s
anti corruption fight is like Satan calling Judas Iscariot a sinner.”
The
Ekiti State governor urged PDP members to ensure that the national convention
of the party is successful.
