Family Sources Reveal Why Solange Attacked JayZ

The shocking leaked footage of Solange Knowles attacking JayZ in an elevator has left a lot of surprised people wondering what must have transpired between them...

Close sources to the family have however, revealed to reporters that the real cause of Solange's outburst was that JayZ, who is married to Solange's elder sister Beyonce, has been promising to help her boost her music career, but for some reason never kept to his words on it.

27-year-old Solange, who is about to release her third album, viciously attacked JayZ in an elevator as seen in the video which was leaked on Monday, while her sister Beyonce just stood there not getting involved in the brawl.

According to a close family friend of the Knowles who spoke to Dailymail, JayZ had been promising that he would assist Solange in boosting her music career; but unfortunately, when she mentioned it to him on the night of the feud during the MET Gala, JayZ blew her off saying he didn't have the time to work with her in the studio, sending the singer into an uncontrollable rage.

'He hasn’t kept his promise to help her. Jay keeps telling her to give him some time and he will sit down and write with her and then get her into the studio but he hasn't done it yet.'

The source added: 'Solange's album is coming out soon but there is no buzz about it, which is a bad sign within the industry.

'Solange wants a major career like her sister and she's tired of living in her shadow. She's jealous.

'Jay-Z promised he would help take her to the next level but he never found the time to keep his word.'

Neither Beyonce nor JayZ have come out to actually say anything regarding the fight since the video leaked online; the couple have kept mute on the incident, going about their business like nothing happened.

Solange on the other hand took off all pictures of Beyonce she had on her Instagram page, leaving behind only one the duo took with an unnamed lady. She has also not come out to say anything concerning the attack or why she did it.
