A lover girl identified as Stella Boise has been arrested by men of the Delta State criminal investigation department for allegedly bathing her sugar-daddy’s wife with water, laced with acid.
The incident took place in Okpanam near Asaba, Delta State.
According to report, the woman had told her husband she was travelling out of town, but she later returned unannounced and caught him having sex on their matrimonial bed with his lover.
She then confronted Stella, warning her to keep off her husband.
This obviously did not go down well with the lover who then poured water laced with acid on the wife, leaving her with serious injuries.
Doctors treating the victim at a private hospital, confirmed the water was laced with chemical suspected to be acid.
Confirming the incident, spokesman of the state police command, DSP Celestina Kalu said Stella was arrested by men of State Criminal Investigation Department while she with the woman's husband.
