Buhari is to speak on current national issues today during his maiden
Presidential Media Chat.
According
to a statement issued in Abuja by the president’s Special Adviser on Media and
Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, the media chat will be broadcast live on the
network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal
Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
It
stated that in the course of the programme, President Buhari would answer
questions from a panel of journalists on a broad range of current national
issues.
“The
Presidential Media Chat will begin at 1900 hours. Other television and radio
stations in the country may hook-up to NTA and FRCN to relay the programme to
their viewers and listeners,” the statement maintained.
