Gunmen abduct two high court judges

There was pandemonium, yesterday, in Kogi State, as gunmen reportedly abducted two court judges in the state, just as two officers were reportedly killed as gunmen attacked Osara Police Station.

Vanguard gathered that the two judges, Justices Aliu Okeme and Timothy Ali were abducted same day at different locations. Okeme was reportedly abducted at Ojuocha in Ofu Local Government Area during a farm inspection and while Ali was reportedly abducted while on his way to the court in Ayingba, Dekina Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Willy Aya, when contacted confirmed the incident but said the police were working to track down the abductors.
