PDP heads to court over Osun election

The Peoples Democratic Party on Monday said it is heading to court to quash INEC’s declaration of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State as inconclusive.

The party said via a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, that the election was concluded and results announced in all polling and collation centre before the electoral body declared the election inconclusive.

It said the completion of voting and collation of results brought the election “to its lawful conclusion and removing INEC powers to declare the election inconclusive”.
