Right on the stage of African Shrine at around 10pm after performing some of his great songs, Femi stopped singing to talk about his upcoming birthday which will be on the 17 of this month.
In a very jovial mood, Femi said “I have too many birthday cards in my house and I don’t drink any more, so please do not buy me birthday cards or else I will tear it in your presence, if you buy me champagne and alcoholic wine, you will sit down and drink it all yourself”

Also in a very funny and jovial mood, he said “You can buy me a jet, a land and also build a nice house on it and so on”
He also said he will not be going out of his way to celebrate it.
