Musa expects inspiration from Ramadan

Ahmed Musa  said he will be observing the Muslim Ramadan fasting as he believes it will give him extra power against France on Monday.
During the fasting period, which began on Saturday, Muslims go without food and drink from dusk to dawn and the Nigeria star has insisted that Allah will give him the strength to face France on Monday for a place in the last eight of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa shot into the history book as the first Nigeria player to score a brace at World Cup game when he scored twice in Nigeria’s 3-2 loss to Argentina on Wednesday.
And he has revealed he will observe the 30-day fasting, which is one of the pillars of Islam, saying it will enhance his performance, rather than affect him negatively.
“I will observe Ramadan in Brazil Insha Allah, I am used to it. It won’t affect my game negatively instead it will give me extra strength to deliver on the pitch. My fans and Nigerians shouldn’t panic. The Eagles and I will deliver against France,” Ahmed Musa told AfricanFootball.com.
