Erstwhile Deputy
Director, Coordination and Implementation of the APC Presidential Campaign
Office in 2015, Mallam Mohammed Lawal, has dismissed reports that there was
friction between President Muhammadu Buhari and a national leader of the All
Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, stating that both of them are like
Siamese twins.
Stating
that the two cannot be separated politically, the APC chieftain told the Punch
that Tinubu will only leave the governing party when the President quits APC,
adding that there was no cause for disagreement between the duo as Tinubu had
benefitted hugely from the Buhari-government.
The
member of the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation said,
“Tinubu is not complaining and he has benefitted from this government. People
are complaining on behalf of Tinubu in order to drive a wedge between him and
the President.
