Oyo police vow to clamp down on ‘one million boys’

The Oyo State Police Command says it is on the trail of members of a gang of hoodlums named One Million Boys, who have been terrorising residents of various communities in Ibadan. 

The gang recently stormed Kudeti area of the city where they attacked some youths with dangerous weapons. The gang cut off the hand of one of the victims, Sikiru Muftau, also known as Alase, while they took away the body part.
It was returned two days after the attack for burial.

In a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, urged parents, guardians and community leaders to warn their children against destruction and disruption of public peace.
