The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the
result of yesterday's governorship election in Ekiti State, saying it would
challenge it in court.
The
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had declared candidate of
the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Kayode Fayemi as winner of the
election.
But
addressing a press conference Sunday, in Abuja, the PDP National Publicity
Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan described the result of the poll as "a
daylight robbery" saying the party must reclaim "its mandate."
