The
outcome of last Saturday's by-elections in Bauchi,Katsina and Kogi States have
placed President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo in good
stead to win next year's election, the presidency said yesterday.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) won the by- elections in Bauchi
south, Katsina North senatorial district and a federal constituency in Kogi
state.
Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Malam
Garba Shehu stated this while addressing newsmen at the State House,
Abuja.
He said election after election, Nigerians are reposing confidence on
President Buhari and the Vice President.
Shehu, while thanking Nigerians for voting for the APC, said the victory
of the party was a clear message that what Nigerians are interested in was good
governance.
Stressing that the party would be going into next year's election with
all confidence, he appealed to the National Assembly to be on the same with
President Buhari, saying Nigerians are not interested in drama but good
governance.
