The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde
Raji Fashola, has inaugurated a support group tagged “5,000 Foot Soldiers” to
canvass votes for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
At
the inauguration of the group yesterday in Lagos, Fashola, who is the immediate
past governor of the state, said the group had the task of targeting the over
six million registered voters in Lagos State.
The minister restated the commitment of President Buhari to
fulfil his campaign promises, but said the party did not promise to change the
face of the country in four years.
