Nasarawa governorship aspirant kidnapped

A governorship aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, Mr. Chris Mamman, on Sunday night, was kidnapped by yet to be identified gunmen, following an allegation of gross misconduct against him during his tenure as the National President of  Eggon Cultural Development Association (ECDA).

 Investigations by Nigerian Tribune, revealed that the angry youths, descended on him at Aren Eggon palace in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state and also set his Toyota Corolla car ablaze.
Mamman, one of the 13 PDP governorship aspirants, seeking to vie for governorship seat in 2015 general election under the PDP, was said to have been picked in his house in Lafia around 8.30 p.m of that fateful night.
When contacted on phone in Lafia, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ismaila Numan, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) confirmed the attack but added that he was yet to receive any information on his abduction.
