Soldiers attached to 174 Battalion, Ikorodu, Lagos, yesterday, arrested a notorious pipeline vandal at Arepo creeks, Ogun State, while he was with some girls.
The suspect, according to the Commanding Officer of the battalion, Lt. Colonel
Julius Ogbobe, is a member of the notorious gang involved in vandalising
pipelines within Arepo and its environs in Lagos State.
Ogbobe
said: “The suspect, identified as General F, and his concubines were arrested
early this morning (yesterday) in the creeks around Arepo in Ikorodu.” It was
learned that General F was shot while attempting to escape during the early
morning encounter. Items recovered from him include one AK-47 riffle, three
magazines and 60 rounds of ammunition.
