Obama says he’s never dyed his hair, unlike other world leaders

A combination photo shows President Obama on April 29, 2009 and on August 5, 2012. Obama's hair has become visibly greyer since he was first sworn into office on January 20, 2009 as a 47-year-old.
President Obama is gray and proud.
The president told students at a town hall meeting in Malaysia Friday that  unlike other famed leaders — dye has never touched his hair.

The comment came after a Cambodian student asked the president, who is "aging to a very senior life," for advice.
"The first thing I want from young people is to stop calling me old," the president joked, according to Reuters. "Come on, you hurt my feelings."
When Obama took office at age 47 in 2009 he boasted jet black hair – but, like most presidents before him, years in office have left him gray.

Now, over four years into a presidency which has been marked by issues including bitter partisan struggles in Washington, a sluggish economy and the ongoing war in Afghanistan, his hair is noticeably more flecked with white. Obama has joked about his changing hair, including at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner on April 27, 2013 when he commented: "Time passes. You get a little grey."
