The Directorate of
State Security Services (DSS) has called on Nigerians, especially those living
in the Northeast of the country to be vigilant whenever they are in crowded
areas.
This comes on the heels
of the recent bombings at mostly motor parks and market places in some cities
in the North.
In a release signed by
the DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar, insurgents are panicking based on the
recent onslaught on them, and they are all out for destruction as they know
that their days are numbered.
The Directorate called on residents of recaptured towns and
communities to return to their homes, as it said there is no need for people to
relocate from any part of the country because of the forthcoming elections as
adequate steps have been taken by security forces to guarantee security of
lives and property.
