Multiple bomb explosions have just been reported by witness in
Biu town of Borno state.
The blasts which occurred one after the other were heard echoing
all over the town three times.
An operative of the Civilian JTF, Muhammed Miringa, who spoke to
Leadership from Biu said “three bomb explosions have occurred in Yamarkumi area
of Biu at about 1pm. There are many casualties. We are trying to see how to
assist the aide workers to help victims that are still alive”.
Yamarkumi is a neighbourhood along the road that leads to
Maiduguri.
