Ex-Anambra gov, Mbadinuju, dumps PDP for APC

L-R: A former Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Tony Momoh; a former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju; and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, during the defection of Mbadinuju from the Peoples Democratic Party to APC, in Abuja…on Monday.
A former Governor of Anambra State, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, on Monday renounced his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party to join the All Progressives Congress.

Mbadinuju, who served as the state governor from 1999 to 2003, cited injustice and “the use and dump mantra” of the PDP as the reason for his decision.
He said this during a press conference in Abuja.
According to him, the Boko Haram menace is part of God’s judgment on Nigeria for embracing injustice instead of promoting justice and fairness.
The former governor stressed that “unless we give justice and fairness its pride of place in our national life, the insurgency will continue unabated.”
