A
teenage boy has been prosecuted under child porn laws for having naked selfies of
HIMSELF on his mobile phone.

Copening of Fayetteville, North Carolina, admitted having the images and took a
plea deal allowing him to avoid going to jail.
However
this now means the 17-year-old is a registered sex offender.
The
images were found during an investigation by bosses at his school into sexual
images of students being shared online.
While
Copening was not involved in the initial probe, he has now been prosecuted as
an adult.
The
student faced five sexual exploitation of a minor charges.
Four
of the charges were for making and possessing two sexually explicit images of
himself.
The
fifth was for possessing a naked image of his girlfriend.
He
was also suspended from his school while the case was being investigated...
