The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), yesterday said its constant
bombardment of terrorists camps has prevented the insurgents from carrying
out their usual attacks on villages and slaughtering of innocent citizens.
This is even as the NAF
attributed the successes so far recorded on the ongoing-counter terrorism war
in the north east to its air operations and promised to create the enabling
environment for national development to take place in the country.
Chief of Air Staff (CAS),
Air Marshall Sadiq Abubakar, who made this known when he declared open a two-day
seminar on standards and evaluation, said constant bombardment on major
terrorists camp had created the enabling environment for the Nigerian army
troops to move unhindered in the conduct of their operations.
