President Goodluck
Jonathan has assured Nigerians that next month’s general elections will not be
postponed under any guise.
The President gave the
assurance while debunking allegations by the All Progressives Congress, APC
that the ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, are involved in
surreptitious schemes to postpone the February 14, Presidential election.
The assurance was
conveyed in a statement by the president’s Special Adviser on Political
Affairs, Prof Rufai Ahmed Alkali.
