Nigerian woman has alleged that she was raped by a group of men from her own
country.
According to the police, the Nigerian lady, not yet identified,

the pretext of a helping her to find a job in the health sector..
The woman told police the men, whom she has been living with in
west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar since the past five months, began sexually assaulting
her a few weeks after they arrived.
“The woman was kept at a rented accommodation in Tilak Nagar.

resisted, the accused beat her up, tortured her and kept her in confinement,”
social worker Ramesh Mathiala said.
Delhi Commission for Women intervened in the matter and had a case
registered at Tilak Nagar police station.

“The doctor informed me that the woman living in Santgarh area had
come for treatment of very serious burn and assault injuries. We talked to her
and then DCW’s involvement was requested,” said Matiala
