President Muhammadu Buhari has called on all journalists in Nigeria to work with his administration in its efforts towards rebuilding the country.
Buhari made the call
while congratulating the new president of the Nigerian Union of
Journalists (NUJ), Abdulwaheed Odusile, on his election.
Presidential spokesman Mr Femi
Adesina said in statement that Buhari looked forward to working in a harmonious
partnership with Odusile, the new NUJ executive and media practitioners in
Nigeria as the government strives to end Boko Haram, improve national security,
rebuild and expand national infrastructure, accelerate the pace of economic
development across the country and create more employment opportunities for
Nigerian youth.
